Meet Kavita Khullar, the founder of Australian Accounting & Tax Officers (AATO), a member of ICA, NTAA & TASA who has 20-plus years of commendable work experience in Australia’s accounting and finance industry. She is a registered TPB tax agent. She has worked in the corporate world in various leadership positions within the insurance, wealth management, and banking sectors. Equipped with an accounting background and a strong desire to make a significant difference, she set out to establish a company that would raise the bar for excellence in the accounting service industry.
She decided to streamline her accounting career to become a tax agent in 2018, and since then, she has been able to assist her individual and commercial clients to save tax. She is very well-versed in the requirements of tax returns for individuals, whether they are working for TFN or ABN. She relentlessly works towards meeting the desired expectations of her clients. Hence, her client retention rate is high. She has helped them with tax accounting, tax returns, building strong financials by cost-cutting, new business set-up, sale and purchase of the businesses, re-structuring of the company, book-keeping etc.
One of her most significant achievements was clearing the accreditation of several banks and being on their referral partners’ programs. This helps the clients to go to the bank and resolve their financial needs as and when needed. At AATO, she enjoys building her team by training them and advising them on the right career path. She is a team player who helps each member feel welcomed and like part of the team AATO. Introducing Binita Sheth, AATO’s marketing officer. She is an experienced marketer with an incredibly creative imagination and fiercy sense of style committed to fostering a strong and lasting relationship with customers.
She plays an important and influential role in the company as the marketing officer. As the marketing officer, Binita is responsible for looking after the business website, creating exciting content to share on the various social media channels and highlighting the unique value proposition of AATO. Her prime passion in life is in sharing the story of the company and how this affects and benifits our customers.
She recognises the importance of solid and lasting relationships with our clients and is committed to creating bespoke, satisfactory and beneficial experiences. She knows the industry in detail and has a master’s degree in marketing. This, coupled with exemplary expertise and an in-depth knowledge of how customers think and behave, helps her create marketing campaigns that perfectly address the target market and encourage customers to be involved.
Her varied and diverse working history includes working in driving schools, human resources and the crane business. Currently, she is putting her marketing knowledge to work in the accounting industry.
